This is a tree that starts out with the typical bluish green eucalyptus foliage (with menthol like fragrance), and as it grows taller, additional ribbon like leaves appear. They can grow to 30 feet tall. They can also be trimmed and maintained at a smaller size, allowing the tree to maintain the more "rounded" type juvenile style foliage. As the tree grows, it develops long flakes of bark down the trunk. Frost hardy.
Lovely white flower clusters appear in the summer. Zones 7-10. Native to Australia.
